Passwords are case-sensitive. The case you use when you create your password must be used when you login.
You are given three attempts to enter the correct password. After three times, you are not able to try again for 60 minutes.
Your password is set to expire every 180 days. You will be notified when the expiration date is near and prompted through changing your password.
You may voluntarily change your password at any time.
Your network login and password provide unique identifiers that enable a system to identify authorized users. Passwords are the first line of defense against network and system intruders.
Strong and secure passwords can prevent an unauthorized person from assuming your network identity and accessing your personal and university information.
Strong passwords are 14 or more characters with a combination of uppercase, lowercase, numeric and special characters.
